I offer various Integrative Therapy options for women dealing with Cancer that can help with natural healing and the side effects from Chemotherapy and Radiation Therapy including Pain, Nausea, Fatigue, Anxiety and Depression. These options include; Oncology/Mastectomy Massage, Reiki, Reflexology and Guided Imagery.

ONCOLOGY MASSAGE – The use of very, very light touch massage provided by a TRAINED LICENSED MASSAGE THERAPIST customized to the client’s current healing phase and their current treatment plan. Always consider the credentials of the Massage Therapist prior to receiving massage.

My training in Oncology Massage spans, MIMA's Cancer Center Internship in Melbourne, FL; Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center in New York, NY, National Instructor Tracy Walton Cancer Training and new training in October 2014 in Cancer and Mastectomy Oncology Massage from Cheryl Chapman as well as continuing education credits. I'm also trained in Guided Imagery by Sandy Jost, Phd in St. Louis who created the Cancer Involvement Program (available for purchase or to be used during sessions).

- Post Surgery and Hospital Stay Benefits: Techniques are used to promote faster wound healing, faster recovery from anesthesia, increase elasticity to scarred areas, break up of adhesions related to scarring, reduce need for pain medication, decreases edema and lymphedema, and relieves muscle soreness.

- Post Radiation and Chemo-therapy Benefits: Reduces symptoms such as fatigue, nausea, diarrhea, and loss of appetite.

- Promote Emotional Benefits: Decrease anxiety and depression, increase feelings of well-being, provides a pleasant distraction and helps rebuild hope.

*Note: There are a few precautions for cancer patients seeking massage therapy. An important one concerns the risk of metastasis or spread of cancer cells. Recent research does not support the earlier belief that massage should be avoided altogether because of the possibility that it might spread the cancer. However there are certain general precautions to keep in mind. For example, massage should be avoided completely around the site of a tumor, or where a tumor has been recently removed. In some cases, Therapeutic Touch, Reiki or Reflexology may be a recommended substitute during specific healing phases or depending on the type of cancer.

NOTE: I require an extensive Intake form to be completed as well as a physician referral form (which I provide.)

Once you have completed the extensive intake form and provided the approval from your physician; I will design the space, environment, and session to meet your needs. The 1st session is $225.00 which includes a 60 minute discussion (coaching session), 60 minute therapy session and pre-session preparation time based on the completed intake form. This first payment must be submitted with the completed intake form.

Package Plan Discounts are available for those wishing to book more than 1 and wish to create a space for healing during their journey when dealing with cancer.
